Somewhere along the way, we got sold a story. That the only direction worth moving is forward. That stillness is stagnation. That if you’re not growing, you’re falling behind — and falling behind is the worst thing you can be. I feel it too. That low hum of not enough. Not productive enough, not visible enough, not further along enough. It doesn’t announce itself loudly. It just sits there, underneath everything, making ordinary days feel like evidence of failure.
